I was fortunate to find this car back in January of 2010. I was out at the Turlock Swap Meet looking for an antique gas pump for my man cave. As we were browsing the vendors my girl & I locked our eyes on the 1959 Chevrolet Impala as it drove into the fairgrounds, it was love at first site. We went to check it out & we ended up coming home with the 59. I was in luck because Frank (the previous owner) spent 7 years building the car up until I took delivery of it.
Since the purchase we've customized the paint to include an accent color on the hood, roof & trunk. "Sweet Pea" now sports a two tone Aspen Green & Classic Cream paint job. Our next phase will be to improve the sound system & maybe swap out the rims, but that still doesn't prevent me from taking it out for a drive every weekend.
