Bio: I purchased my 96 SS in January of 1998. After seeing a few in the streets, they grew on me more and more & I had to have one. Since they were no longer in production, I had to purchase it from a private party. After a couple of years of owning the SS and hanging out with local impala clubs, I wanted to be different! The transformation began in September of 2000. I dropped the car off at the body shop and after 3 months of ups and downs "Orange Bang" was born! Then the fun began from shop to shop. Interior, rims, sound, and misc. shops! It was a bunch of fun! Orange Bang is usually my weekend car! Whether we go out for a cruise, to a show, or a movie shoot! We pile in and go! Some future plans for the Bang are to build a supercharged motor for it & and install an adjustable suspension (airbags). My favorite part of the car has to be the paint; the color just pops out at you! It is like no other color out there with all the pearl in the paint, it always different. It changes many shades of orange depending on the sun light, and at night it turns to a deeper color! Many people don’t notice the ghost flames when the car is in motion, but when at a stop the flames are as clear as day. Special thanks to my family for all the support while building the Orange Bang!
